DESIGN NAME: Pampiermole
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beer Label
INSPIRATION: Because it is a starting small brewer with a little budget. I looked for a solution to be self-sufficient. I had to think of the form fields I know from the pdf. So that was my basis for this label. That the customer can fill in himself. With the design I proposed to make a loose style. What corresponds to the brewer, not too proffesional and it must remain nice
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The label can be adapted and shaped by the customer by making adjustments in a pdf document. The pdf can also be used by a printing office. The fonts in the design are embedded. By using layer properties, the customer can also make various choices in layouts to choose from.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The customer can open the label true a free pdf reader. In the pdf the customer can fill in his own text. For example by filling in the name of the beer.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Januari 2018 in Winterswijk, Netherland and finished March 2018
FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: At first I draw the label on paper, then draw it in Illustrator and exported to pdf and made a form field into the pdf.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: With 110 mm x Height 80 mm

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I have first done research on fill in text fields in a pdf Reader, I have tested this with various versions of the pdf reader. I also checked whether the fonts remain embeded when changing the text. This turned out to be no problem. I have named the field names in the pdf the same, which means that if you fill everything in 1 label, the data will automatically be the same on all labels that are on the print file.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to get a good workflow for the fillable pdf.
