| DESIGN NAME: 17 Miles PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: Drawing inspirations from the multi-brand boutique stores and clubs, the design has paid attention to the new forms of modern art, and has transformed local culture, crafts, materials and other elements into unique visual languages, allowing visitors to have great enjoyment and pleasure. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Different from traditional sales centers, the sales center has combined delights with romance, providing new visual experience and excitement with artistic design. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the design for the 17 Miles sales center, the designer not only emphasizes the return of art but the importance of practice. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Geometric hanger plate made of mirror steel dialogues with the colorful carpet of hexagonal patterns. The stainless steel curtain hangs from the ceiling, forming a huge Sichuan Opera mask which becomes the visual focus of the space. With the light penetrating the curtain, it shows the unique beauty of the space. The customized furniture responses to the architectural lines and matches the huge curtain perfectly. Fashionable dolls and modern sculptures are in contrast with the traditional facial mask, reflecting an unconventional space spirit. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project Area: 1500 square meters TAGS: ENJOY DESIGN, Guo Jie, 17Miles, Vanke RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The designer has defined the style of the sales center with Sichuan Opera at the entrance. As an important art form and symbol of Ba Shu culture, Sichuan Opera is well known all around the world. Facial mask is one of the most impressive elements in Sichuan Opera, which is used in the design of the space to symbolize the enthusiasm, and loyalty and honest of Chongqing people. CHALLENGE: White building block is the typical element in the past works. The interior design has continued the architectural style and simplified the outlines to create a natural and elegant space. Geometric marble bar counter responses to the building block, unique lights create special visual effect, colorful paintings present multiple levels, all showing the charm of modern city life.
