PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fine Dining Restaurant
INSPIRATION: The main concept of the architecture was to combine traditional French and Italian architectural styles with authentic multicultural Georgian experience.
The four major units of the building are connected by the yard Inspired by European city squares. The yard gives a feeling of French outdoor seating, with city lights and artificial sky just above it.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The concept of the restaurant surpasses the typical designation of a luxurious restaurant, but offers an unparalleled settings and meeting point where people could relax and socialize in the magical atmosphere, what temporarily takes visitors away from city reality.
The entire concept of restaurant and fine dining revolves around main atrium, the heart of the project, which resembles the typical inner yard of old Tbilisi residential neighborhoods where habitants meet and socialize.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It operates by professional restaurateur, who is responsible for everyday restaurant cycle. a Special planning of all dining spaces interacting with main kitchen and service methodology works perfectly with entire restaurant concepts and allows seamless transition for the inception to final delivery to guests.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Including Design and construction from 2016 to 2018.
Located in Tbilisi, Georgia, 45 Kostava Street.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main concept of the design methodology of the project is the traditional inner yard of Tbilisi Neighborhoods that has a strong reference to Palazzo or squares in urban context. Counter plating traditional setting into indoor environment that creates very strong memorable space.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project consists of four restaurant levels and the administration offices on the fifth floor. Total Volume is 1500 sq.m. Everyday sitting arrangement allows 170 guests, however for the special events the number can be decreased or increased accordingly.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: From the day 1 of inception of the project we have collaborated with restaurant operator and have studied the current and upcoming restaurant market of very rich culture of fine dining in Tbilisi. We have done digital and personal research and have communicated with 1000th of customers asking them for the ideal space the city was lacking. in the result of in depth research and consideration we have learned from different customers that highly interactive dynamic space with different character dining experiences would be the ideal venue.
CHALLENGE: Wilst our design was based on traditional Tbilisian inner yard we have always wanted to create more global and international feeling that would balance the traditional visitors experience. The project is located in the heart of old Tbilisi wherein our challenge was to create a highly modern structure that fits the environment and becomes part of the urban context.
