| DESIGN NAME: NOT CLUB PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bar INSPIRATION: In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager 1 probe into space, hoping to explore civilizations other than humans. The detector carries a gold-plated record called "The Sounds of Earth". Just like NASA, we chose to use the record as the core of the experience, and designed the entire bar as a spaceship. We want to create a field that is effectively isolated from the mediocrity of reality. "Not" stands for unknown and "Club" stands for the moment. Give up being a well organized people, and enjoy the moment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: NOT CLUB is a new generation of music bars. Just like NASA, designer chose to use the record as the core of the experience, and designed the entire bar as a spaceship. The designers extract the record, the futuristic, the tear as an element throughout the space, and re-deconstructs the original space with a coherent design approach; The design of new technology elements has got rid of the dull feeling of traditional bars. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The "vinyl record" flying saucer made of copper-like stainless steel is interspersed in the space. The continuous recordings are high and low, combined with virtual and real, the lights on the flying saucer change with the rhythm of the music, driving the whole space to pulsate together. When the experiencer walks in the space, it is like walking in the future time and space, the notes and rhythm tearing the feeling of hearing, the tearing of space stimulates the feeling of sight, the unique feeling of hearing and vision, thus contributing to Not Club's meaning. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in May 2017 on Xingsheng Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou , China, finished in May 2018. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We extract the record, the futuristic, the tear as an element throughout the space, and re-deconstructs the original space with a coherent design approach. At the entrance to the bar that the huge "vinyl record" flying saucer interspersed with the external public space that traverses the entire bar. These flying saucers are made of imitation copper stainless steel, and they overlap each other. Combined with virtual and real, the lights on the flying saucer change with the rhythm of the music. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Areaļ¼2200m2 TAGS: Not Club, Bar , Vinyl record, spaceship, unknown RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The type of the project is the bar, located on the most prosperous section of Guangzhou, aiming to create a new nightlife landmark with quality music and high social taste. We hope to create a field that is effectively isolated from the mediocrity. Consumers can get rid of the dullness of traditional bars here. We conducted a nine-month investigation on the domestic and international industry markets and the Guangzhou market: Macro Environmental Analysis EPS & Situation Analysis SWOT & Industry Design Level Comparison, and urged the project to become a new landmark for Chinese bars. CHALLENGE: The most difficult part of the design activity is the construction of GRG. There are many places where GRG crosses in the space. We need to handle the closing of these intersections.
