| DESIGN NAME: Nightshot PRIMARY FUNCTION: Photography INSPIRATION: To create aerial panoramas with my drone. shot in the sky with a rare low light vewing angle. To start the vr-tours of our clients. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A aerial panoramic shot at a very low light at night, 100 meters above Ludwigshafen and Mannheim Germany. Made as a intro to start a virtual Tour of one of our clients. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A aerial nightshot give the visitors of our tours a outstanding nightview of the desired location. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was started in october 2018 and was finished after 3 days. location is Ludwigshafen Germany FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Photography and Photo Manipulation Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The airpano is produced with a Phantom 4 Pro just in the minute where the sun is gone. The drone shot 136 single images in a time of about 2 minutes to get all the details and light informations between the maximum white and the maximum black. All images are processed in Adobe Lightroom, stiched in PTGui into one big (28.000 x 14.000 pixels) single hdr-image. The final retouching, tonemapping and colorcorrection to create the final panorama is done in Adobe Photoshop. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The final HDR-Image has a resolution of 392 megapixel (28.000 x 14.000 pixel) and a colour depth of 32 bit. The max. printsize is 7000 mm x 3500 mm. CHALLENGE: Catching the perfect time for the capture was the hardest point.
