PRIMARY FUNCTION: Cosmetics Packaging
INSPIRATION: The design team of arts background believed that care products, apart from content, the exterior appearance of the bottle should also convey the aesthetics conviction of the design team. A stunning first impression, or even trigger discussions, it initiation an array of tactile perception and imagination in the actual user experiences, get rid is the general daily necessities is experience of inertia and no feeling.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The birth of this product originates from the design intention of breaking from the conventional thinking in order to create a refreshing and differentiating cosmetics packaging to mainstream aesthetics. Eventually, the Anubis of Egyptian mythology was adopted as the design paradigm, as the bottle cap form of Anubis human figure with a canine head and transparent all-black color of body of the bottle, all of design which challenges the mild and refreshing aesthetics and contemporary of products.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Users are subject to multiple perceptual experiences of the visual and the tactile through unique bottle form, whether from the color or light and shadow of the bottle, as well as the muscle tone and texture of the Anubis-figure bottle cap, all of which are of great design and aesthetics significance.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in January, 2018 and the first batch of products were finished in December, 2018.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The bottle is made of glass, its sense of transparency articulates a special effect of light and shadow, the cap is made of plastic of which its flow characteristics contribute to detail design, the motif of the body of bottle and the illustrative texts are processed with special-printing technique of decal paper, the craft refinedness is product basis, the project was completely designed in New Taipei City.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Bottle Capacity of 30ml, the bottle cap of 104mm, the maximum width of 69mm, bottle height of 119mm, and diameter of 28mm.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Anubis, a mythological figure with a scale that came from the Dark Age, symbolizing the role of judgement and determination of the destiny of the dead, embodies the notion of noble truth and rebirth seeks to articulate the values of real skin care and the corporation of Midnight Sun, the bottle design assumes the unique black color of Anubis, the icon of patron saint Hecate, and hence the product series creatively named, Rebirth, epitomizes the uniqueness and originality of the product, in contrast to the stereotyped mainstream elegant image female consumers assumedly sought after.
CHALLENGE: Just like the glow one sought to have in the skin, the designer hopes that the overall pure black bottle will still show a certain degree of transparency and clarity and strength, along with the silver motif and the techniques of transfer printing and decal paper, are all technical feats of high difficulty and time-consuming work.
