| DESIGN NAME: Cozi Lounge PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: The restaurant is located in an industrial area and with that in mind, the design opted for the industrial style and instead has been designed with a chic and impressive style. With metallic elements flowing through the whole design, bringing out a sophisticated and dynamic atmosphere. This project breaks the limitations of the location and environment, bringing a brand new perception to industrial areas. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A unique pattern was created and used around the interiors surrounding, from the use of the different metals to form layers and help enhance the height of this restaurant. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: An array of metal is employed and layered to enhance the height of the space and also craft a striking visual effect. The restaurant and bar has been decorated with an Art Deco theme in mind, with a combination of gold and different variety of stones for a sophisticated and elegant finish. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Stainless steel, marble, veneer SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 188 sqm TAGS: cozi, cozy, artdeco, hotel, lounge, bar RESEARCH ABSTRACT: COZi Lounge is situated in Hotel COZi with a theme of vitality. The logo of the hotel is symbolised by plant branches. Using this concept to design a special pattern for the restaurant as well as using metal to present this. The same concept is adopted to unify the interiors of the restaurant and the hotel although the ambiance is totally different. CHALLENGE: The design challenge for Cozi Lounge is the location, with is being in an industrial area. To provide a relaxing atmosphere and environment to the customers, several patterns and materials are used to create a stylish and impressive space, so that customers can enjoy their time in the lounge even in an industrial area.
