| DESIGN NAME: The Little World PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: The designer found that blue and white is the most common color in owner's daily belongins, so the designer used blue and white as an embellishment in the new space. With the appropriate colors and materials, the deaign team tried to show the unique lifestyle of the homeowner. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In this tiny space, the entrance, dining room and cigar room are separated, which meets the needs of the house mainframe, but the space becomes fragmented at the same time. We designed a multi-functional wall that contains the function of the shoes cabinet, the bench of the dining table and the cigar room TV wall, etc.The wall is continuous with the entire space. Activities at those three spaces are connected in series, and the whole space looks just bright and the atmosphere is relaxed. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the era of high housing prices, small-space apartment can often be seen in cities. As we know, in addition to meeting the needs of homeowners, small houses are more important to create a unique little world. The homeowners are a DINK couple, the host has the hobby of smoking cigars and playing games, and the hostess likes to have afternoon tea with friends at home, how to create a unique little world in this 55-square-meters space is an important issue for the project. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The wall was made of cement and special paint mixed with the hand-painted by the master. The authenticity of the cement reflects the traces of the construction process, and those traces are the unique material expressions of this space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 53 square meters/width 8200mm x Depth 6400mm TAGS: small, dink, jk, Taipei, sample RESEARCH ABSTRACT: To knowing the daily life of owner’s demand we adjusted the design to meet their needs. For example, the smoking room in the tiny space. We design a negative pressure environment with air conditioner and glass well.Trying to keep the space transparency and isolation. CHALLENGE: The owner's previous apartment was 3 times large than this site. How to create a space which can provide owner a comfortable lifestyle . For instance, We replace the wardrobe from the master room ,creating a multifunctional dressing room. The master room large enough placing a kind size bed,and the their can jest get a simple to reast in a minimalist apartment.
