RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We researched what kind of space is required in this area where Shanghai's wealthy people concentrate. Designing a restaurant in this valuable architecture was a very delicate and exciting task. We carefully set the materials and illuminance, while paying respect to existing buildings, we have expressed the world view of "Japan".
CHALLENGE: It was a pretty deformed site here and the approach to the store was quite a special position, so careful placement of the entrance and the seat was done. With that condition aside, three different types of rooms were prepared. A small room with a view of the Bund, an elongated room with a rich lounge, special room with a kitchen counter and a round table.
