| DESIGN NAME: 2 in 1 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Furniture INSPIRATION: Concept:Convenience + Comfort + Sophistication Inspiration for the 2 in 1 chair comes from the needs of daily life. A place to sit and storage options are typically two separate pieces. When it’s time to read - the book is on the shelf, when you need to charge your tablet, the outlet is too far away. The list goes on..the 2 in 1 chair attempts to make life easier and more comfortable. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Comfort:The 2 in 1 chair brings a welcome and comfortable spot to wherever it is used. Well suited for work or lounging. When privacy or focus becomes a priority the 2 in 1 accommodates. The chair’s high wood arms form a visual boundary that helps eliminate distractions and prying eyes. The chair is crafted from solid FSC Certified wood. Steel frame is made from recycled metal and the cushions utilize a 100 percent recycled polyester fabric. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Human-centered design The 2 in 1 chair features ergonomic details, whether a person needs to sit for a few minutes or a few hours, the design considerations make sitting a joy. Storage and power options are close at hand and the surface provides flexibility for the task at hand. The 2 in 1 armchair can be served with the wide storage to the left or to the right. Power ports, available in standard outlets or in combination with USB, provide easy access for charging technology tools. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The structure of 2 in 1 chair is made of solid oak. Solid steel frame with powder coat finish. 100 percent polyester upholstery with synthetic down insert, 80 percent of materials are recycled. The chair is crafted from solid FSC Certified wood. Steel frame is made from recycled metal and the cushions utilize a 100 percent recycled polyester fabric. The success of a particular chair has depended on the quality and connections it makes. A chair usually make physical and psychological connections with individual through its form and materials. It also connect visually and functional with the context where it is to be used. The 2 in 1 armchair embody meanings and values which connect with the user at a cultural level,emotional and aesthetic.
