| DESIGN NAME: Golem PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bar INSPIRATION: Before the design work was carried out, the designer went to the project site to conduct a live shooting record. There is no light on the project site, only a large window, the light and shadow relationship becomes very simple and strong. During the shooting process, the camera accidentally fell to the ground, resulting in a blurry, overexposed, strange picture and a somewhat abstract picture. This photo actually has its own beauty. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is located in Shatin, Hong Kong. It covers an area of about 2000 square feet. With a tight budget and for a better decoration effects, the designer team installed light on Themselves, they also hand painted murals. this project requires highly construction experience and excellent hand drawing capability . OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2018 in HongKong and finished in July 2018. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Stainless steel, iron, glass, ceramic tile SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 2000 square feet TAGS: golem，bar， relaxed and happy, light, cement，metal，mys RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In Jewish folklore, a golem is an animated anthropomorphic being that is magically created entirely from inanimate matter (usually Metal or mud). It can't think, but it can act freely. The word was used to mean an amorphous, unformed material in Psalms and medieval writing. So we want to try to design a mysterious, elegant and classical space. We didn't use too much color in the design. We used a lot of metals, mirrors and dark color materials. At last, the magical effect between light, metal and mirror is way beyond our expectations, it’s like canvas of Rembrandt, and it’s gorgeous. This is what we want: let the light and space to express design itself. CHALLENGE: With a tight budget and for a better decoration effects, our design team installed light on our own, we also hand painted murals. this project requires highly construction experience and excellent hand drawing capability.Although our design team have done so much extra work, but we have the better affect. Like our hand drawing murals is beautiful than the professional painting studio.
