| DESIGN NAME: La Riva Private Residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Private Residence INSPIRATION: Starting from the demands of the owners, the designers integrated art design into their daily life, trying to create ideal living spaces which meet their expectations UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Instead of excessive decorations, the designers have employed simple design skills, warm gray and high-quality soft furnishings, creating a living space which integrates aesthetic experience with daily Life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To create a space which is both elegant and relaxing, The designers paid special attention to both the privacy and the atmosphere of the space. In this residence, large French window is designed to introduce the grand river view, which integrates the oriental beauty with modern art to provide unique aesthetic experience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: On the marble wall in the center of the hallway is an arc-shaped silk painting, in which the ancient tree dialogues with the crystal artwork in front and the hill-shaped decorations beside. The soft -covered walls, customized furniture and elegant lights all present simple lines; offwhite carpet with ink clouds matches the abstract landscape painting, the water-wave screen, the moon-shaped light and the crystal chandelier, creating a natural atmosphere that agrees with the taste of the owner. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project Area: 515 sqaure meters TAGS: Henry Zheng, HYY Design, Private Residence, Aesthetic Experience RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Located along the Yangtze River, La Riva, Wuhan enjoys great views of the green oases, the magnificent river as well as the cityscape across the river, which enables the owners to lead a peaceful and comfortable life here. The one-story residence covers an area of 515 square meters. CHALLENGE: Home is a place one can touch and feel at the same time. In addition to the colors and materials, special attention should be paid attention to the space scale, the practical functions and the environmental protection. Therefore, according the demands and living habits of the family, the designers have changed the original five rooms into three suites, which has greatly improved the comfortableness.
