| DESIGN NAME: Essences of light PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: “Essences of light,” the design work of a residential-and-busi UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Spaces, for the users, signify the presences of building, the thoughts of mind, and, moreover, the extensions of self-worth and meaning. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The smooth traffic flows, the extensive sense of sights and the sunlight variations have developed the spirits of spaces, which are pure, intriguing and magnificent. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Jan. 2018 in Yilan City, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The glass walls decorating between the courtyard and indoor space intensify the extensive sense of sights. The natural strength of verdant plants and glittering sunlight imaginatively convolutes into an impressionistic painting. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 236 square meters TAGS: Interior Design, Residential ,House,Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Highlighting the design essences and dropping the excessive decorations, the designer unveils the real qualities of materials. The craftsmanship of column-free structures visually heightens the indoor space. The consolidations of fair-faced concrete walls, delicate grey brick bricks, elegant wall shelves and long tables have constituted into a capacious office. CHALLENGE: The open-style design cordially extends visual perceptions and establishes smooth traffic flows concurrently. The public area, on the second floor, is adroitly outlined into spaces by using couch, dining table and cabinets. The slant ceiling is appealing as well. In the master bedroom, the delicate textures of extensive wooden ceiling, floors and closets exhibit the comfortable, modern and exquisite ambience.
