| DESIGN NAME: Smart Links Liveable Cities PRIMARY FUNCTION: Report INSPIRATION: The theme title, Smart Links, Liveable Cities, illustrated wide range of sustainable initiatives from Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway are presented as an imaginative city map format. The cover design, which features numbers of iconic places and objects, expresses the sustainability initiatives embraced by the company. The concept, content, structure and design are highly rated by leading figures in the sustainable field. An innovative and reader-friendly report is presented. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway, a major property developer and landlord in Hong Kong. The organisation sought to to achieve their goal to connect and grow communities with caring service, and build sustainability awareness among a wider audience. To achieve this, Urban Air Design, devised the creative for a multi-channel sustainability report. The report also aimed to achieve a greater stakeholder engagement, and reinforced its sustainability leader positioning. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: From project planning to implementation, our professional team work closely with the content provider Business Environment Council, we aim high to create a stunning sustainability report. From account director and creative director, to design team, account servicing team and programming team, we manage to do an innovative, interactive and communicative sustainability report design from online media to offline media. We impress our users by providing a great balance on creativity and functionality. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2018 in Hong Kong and finished in August 2018 in Hong Kong |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Smart Links, Liveable Cities, the idea highlights the significance of customers to the company. In the inner pages, info graphics facilitate information delivery. Furthermore, interactive pdf documents are created to provide our online readers with a dynamic reading experience with buttons, hyperlinks, and page transitions. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Web design, comprehensive and summary PDF format, video to leaflet TAGS: sustainability, report, web, design, brochure, green, video RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We have spent huge effort to study such a giant corporation, mainly on corporate responsibility vision. We held stakeholder engagement focus group to gather insights for creative process. After the project launched, the overall performance no matter on the reach, the user engagement and the recognition are all over expectation. It is because first of all our client, MTR, gave us a lot of trust and freedom to create, to think outside the box, and to execute with style. CHALLENGE: MTR, as one of the largest corporates in Hong Kong, also the leader of sustainability development in related field, the most challenging part for Urban Air is to maintain the quality and enhance user experience. As a result, We manage to do an innovative, interactive and communicative sustainability report design from online media to offline media. We impress our users by providing a great balance on creativity and functionality.
