| DESIGN NAME: The Lake One PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: The elegant lake view of Chengcing Lake inspires this project.The natural atmosphere of lake freshens up people’s soul; based on this concept , our design team tries to make this beautiful scenery being a part of the house. The star of this space is the owner couple and their three daughters.They will create their exclusive and fabulous memories in this house. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is located next to Chengcing Lake, Kaohsiung. It has a wonderful lake view so the design concept is to make the scenery being a part of the house.Creative decoration and perfect circulation connect the scenery and house smoothly. Interior design is not just a house decoration, but a design to make life perfect and show its own charm. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: See-through decoration enlarges the space visually and makes close connection for spaces. For example, open kitchen design has space interaction for the youngest daughter playing in the living room and the oldest daughter doing homework at the dining table. Having a cup of coffee and sitting at the balcony not just enjoy the relaxing hour, but make a connection between nature and house. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: With the whole house water purification system, the master bedroom enjoys the view of the lakeside outside the house, the children's room has a child friendly climbing wall for creative decoration, using simple materials to create a magical beauty. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Indoor area : 200 sqm.Balcony area : 27 sqm TAGS: DINGRUI, Taiwan, Ding-Rui Tai, The LakeOne, Chengcing Lake, Kaohsiung RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Research type: living space Conclusion : Seeking change for the sake of innovation is the trend of house decoration, but it leads to a complex result all the time. So the design concept of this project is to make everything simple. The actual boundary is removed, but the beautiful scenery makes close connection with the indoor space. Creativity and simplicity are the highlights of perfect decoration. CHALLENGE: The challenge of this project is how to create the best space scale and function without changing the original house structure. In order to integrate the beautiful lake view with the house, our design team adopts the technique of view borrowing and makes lots effort on the selection of materials. All we do is to make a stunning connection between nature and house and create a comfortable and relaxing home for the owner family. NAME: The Lake One PROFILE: DINGRUI Design Studio C.F.Tai Design Studio was organized in 1997. Renamed as “DINGRUI Design Studio” in 2008. We have our own language formed by the design to promote actions, study in space and life aesthetics, and being persistent in carrying out the design solutions. Our main business is primarily on interior design and display design of residence and the associated club house. We believe that the spirit of spatial planning is to epitomize the attitude towards life, instead of using up every corner of the space. Moderate reservation of the open space is to remain the flexible use of space on one hand, and to have the behavior patterns changed and further adjust mood and attitude on the other hand. We emphasize the principle of material utilization and focus on the coordination of the laws of nature, rather than arbitrary overlapping. |
