| DESIGN NAME: Lu Style PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: Design can not only utilize rich shapes and colors in nature, but also can utilize imagination to create boundless figures. Just as Hegel says, a sensitive image is used to reflect the reality. A good design doesn't refer to appearance of the design, but the inherence. In this project, except art and visual beauty, the designer considers more on how can the design drive consumption from the perspective of the owner. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the space of Lu Style, the designer bravely implant an art gallery to change the overall experience of the dining area at the same time make art closer to people’s life. This is also a brand-new attempt and exploration of designer in commercial space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Design can not only utilize rich shapes and colors in nature, but also can utilize imagination to create boundless figures. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Bronze-colored bookshelf echoes the order top. Both of them also serve as the articles for space transformation which divides lobby/semi-private area and private area, integrating the function of both practicality and aesthetics. The partially visible art screen is made of metal and fabric which separates each semi-private area. A sense of ambiguity exists in privacy and openness. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The restaurantr covers an area of 1000 sqm. TAGS: modern, oversea, metal, art gallery, perspective RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the space of Lu Style, the designer bravely implant an art gallery to change the overall experience of the dining area at the same time make art closer to people's life. This is also a brand-new attempt and exploration of designer in commercial space. The designer applies abstract or representational symbols into each private area aiming at to creating a special oriental style. CHALLENGE: Diversified design within a space is a test for the designer's ability to handle the overall design. Therefore, the designer draws elements of oriental esthetics and combines them with natural colors in the design.
