DESIGN NAME: Utopia
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tableware
INSPIRATION: The relief is inspired by pleats applied to origami, Japanese secular art on paper. A set where fluent and elegant curves predominate, delicacy and poetry.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Each piece of Utopia features a construction of different reliefs that adapts to the shape, inspired by Japanese geometries, enhancing it and giving it dynamism.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The teapot has a lid that allows better handling because it fits perfectly to the hands; the cup of tea has a wider dimension to enhance the aromas of the beverage; the relief present in all the pieces was thought in a way to combine aesthetics with technology, beginning and ending subtly.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It was a tableware developed thinking about the daily domestic use, and also in hotelware, so it should have elegance allied with the resistance. The material is a high quality porcelain, and for each piece was used a suitable technology, such as roller, casting, high pressure casting and isostatic press.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: It is a complete tableware, with serving dishes, plates, bowls, tea and coffe sets, with measures ranging from 278mm width x 348mm Depth x 33mm Height for the tray, until 118mm width x 83mm Height for the sugar pot, for example.
