| DESIGN NAME: Lone and Eylone PRIMARY FUNCTION: Backpack INSPIRATION: I was struggling to find a clutch bag that perfectly fits my day-to-day life. I am really sensitive to smart design and the use of natural, long-lasting materials. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: What makes this design so unique is that the magnetic flap of the backpack faces your back once it is on- which means no one will be able to get into the backpack while it is being worn without you noticing. Another striking feature of this bag is that not only can it be worn as a backpack, but can also be carried as a tote, meaning you get the best of both worlds in one bag. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The first step of the production is to choose the first-rate materials, such as leather, metal accessories and finishes. Then the leather and the lining is cut by hand carefully. Afterwards the pieces are put together and sewed including the metal accessories. The final touch is to paint the open edges of the raw leather. NAME: qroll design PROFILE: The brand was established in November 2016, after a couple of months spent with designing the perfect shaped clutch bag. Though the first design was created the brand did not have a name yet, which had to change as quick as possible. After a couple of different tries Koralia found the perfect name which was originated from her given name which means "Coral" in Greek language. |
