| DESIGN NAME: The Masion PRIMARY FUNCTION: City Clubhouse INSPIRATION: Because there are more rainy days in Chengdu, most of the buildings are mainly dark colors. However, this case broke this habit and chose white as the main color. The punched aluminum plate was processed into a folding fan window and wrapped the surface. The entire building looked like a gentleman dressed in white. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This case is a newly completed city clubhouse. The whole place expresses the spirit of modern minimalism and oriental, and integrates contemporary art and humanities, and emits unique spatial temperament in tranquility and comfort. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Designers chose white as the main color. The punched aluminum plate was processed into a folding fan window and wrapped the surface. The entire building looked like a gentleman dressed in white. Sunlight shines through a large area of ground glass into the interior, allowing a clear view of the interior. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2017 in Chengdu and finished in September 2017 in Chengdu. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In this project, the main materials are Chinese black stone, volcanic rock stone, imitation stone floor tile, white steel plate, black sandblasting stainless steel plate, wood finish, art coating, ultra white glass and so on. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 1700 square meters. The whole space is concise and easy. The plane follows and meets the demand of city exhibition hall. In the collocation and selection of materials, designers chose modern decoration materials as the elements of space personality expression. TAGS: Interior, Humanism, Minimalism, Art Museum, City Exhibition Hall, Contemporary RESEARCH ABSTRACT: From ancient times till now, Chengdu is a city with ease and elegance, but it is also restrained by impetuosity and fast rhythm. The Masion is a newly completed urban club located near the East Second Ring Road in Chengdu. Designers transform the architecture and interior of the original sales center to create a quiet and elegant place. CHALLENGE: Due to the geographical location, the climate in chengdu is humid and rainy. So in the choice of materials and the collocation of color, in addition to meet the beautiful and practical, designers also need to consider the factor of natural environment.
