| DESIGN NAME: Blue Fantasy PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: The house design plan, given the limited original layout less than 1 living room and 1 bathroom, is reconstructed on the center of entryway surrounded by the five areas including the bathroom, kitchen and dining room, living room, bedroom and study room. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The first sight when coming in the house, people will see the extensive living room, where the entryway and living room are furnished with two doors, behind which hidden the dining room, kitchen and bathroom, that expand the visual scale from the entryway to living room. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design plan adequately displays the design skill in styles and functionalities, which are fitting, pragmatic, neat and delicate. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Jan. 2018 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The blue color, as the main color tone, is complemented embellished with the brown wooden veneers that manifest the British yuppie style. The living room decorated with a vivid blue wall, which is recessed a bit, that exhibits the live space characteristics. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 50 square meters TAGS: Interior Design, Residential ,House,Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The fair-faced wall, behind the sofa, is extended to the corner of study room, cordially reconciling the colors and spatial impressions as well. The blue wall broadened to the study room consistently continues the main color tone. In the study room, the desk is adorned with exquisite marbles, and the dark brown cabinets spawn the composed and clear-cut ambiences, which are vigorously contrasting to the intriguing human-shaped lamp in the living room. The bedroom decorated with open-style closets reveals the soothing impression. CHALLENGE: The designer, considering the house owner’s interests, deliberately set up the ladder-shaped ironworks for exhibiting the owner’s treasure action figures. People can either write or doodle on the dark glass furnished in the study room.
