RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
With the historical districts and Qingshui Zushi Temple nearby, we want to recall the former glory and pass down the essence of the region, by developing this Exhibit Center. A large roof window and french windows bring in views and allow light to flood into the lobby and the reception rooms, giving a feeling of depth. Gray and beige decorations with fine textures enrich the color planning of the space. In addition, black iron pipes complete the terminal views as a visual focus in modern style.

CHALLENGE:
This project, the Exhibit Center, was dressed with large amount of natural rattan materials which is prone to damage from sunlight, rain and frost that would make it brittle or rotten. For untreated rattan materials we apply a thin coat of treatment oil and to do as many coats as possible, that provide a perfect finish preventing damage from direct sunlight exposure and moisture and other risks caused by the natural environment.
