| DESIGN NAME: Harvest PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: In order to make art, nature, and life balance and be shared in the living space, through the extension of the vertical moving lines, the display of art is merged between the neat structure and the brick texture and connected to the rice landscape outdoors. Through the traverse and overlapping of irregular geometric sashes, different distances are created, which brings artistic pleasures of viewing and peeping in different geometric frames. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In order to make art, nature, and life balance and be shared in the living space, the deep gallery, which runs straight through, integrates the scattered space to form the main moving line of the house and connects each space between the aisles and the corners in an artistic way. The dining area is fully integrated into the outdoor natural rice landscape with its full open window view, and extends into the middle section through irregular panes, making the scenery looks like a painting inlaid. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In addition to the improvement of the original function of the old house, in order to achieve convenience, we have created two entrances in the residential space, one end with brick texture, extended black mirror, and exquisite lighting to create a grand and elegant welcome. At the other end, the courtyard and garage are connected to shorten the distance of entering the home in winter for the occupants, and the outdoor garden greenery and rice landscape are introduced with large glass windows. We have designed a gallery connecting the two entrances indoors so that art and nature seem to gradually infiltrate into the indoor space from both ends. And at the same time, the originally scattered space is more efficiently connected and the display function of art collections is also combined among corridors, corners, and door pieces. Besides, we also bring versatile angles of viewing through the changes in geometric sashes and windows. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: In the modern concise tone and structure, art and nature are the protagonists of color, and extend from the two ends of the space, forming a merge in daily life. The contrasting materials and colors, and hints and setting of lighting, guide the direction of the moving line and the scope of the space. The hidden storage design makes the picture more refreshing and pure, and the surrounding area of the gallery is an open art display space, which is an aesthetic experience when walking around the home.
