| DESIGN NAME: Uniview HIC8581 Panoramic Camera PRIMARY FUNCTION: Camera INSPIRATION: The design inspiration of the product comes from the owl, whose eyes are the source of inspiration. We combine it with the multi-lens panoramic camera to realize the professionalism of the camera. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The multi-lens panoramic camera applies mainly to urban high-point monitoring as it meets the needs of 180-degree panoramic stitching. Conventional cameras, due to their limited image areas as a result of the less-than-100-degree field of view, cannot meet the demands for monitoring in large scenes individually. This less-costly solution can seamlessly stitch the video images collected by the four lenses and sensor into one, thus conveniently implementing panoramic monitoring. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It is designed to meet the needs for panoramic monitoring in a large scene. The target market is the security industry, covering the public security organs, airports, colleges and universities, enterprises, etc. It provides both real-time panoramic videos and partially magnified HD images.In contrast, this less-costly solution can seamlessly stitch the video images collected by the four lenses and sensor into one, thus conveniently implementing panoramic monitoring with no tedious installation. It is designed to meet the needs for panoramic monitoring in a large scene. The target market is the security industry, covering the public security organs, airports, colleges and universities, enterprises, etc. It provides both real-time panoramic videos and partially magnified HD images.Compared with the deployment of multiple cameras, the four-lens panorama solution outputs a stitched single-channel image, which is easier and cheaper to operate and features convenient installation and maintenance. CHALLENGE: The multi-lens panoramic camera applies mainly to urban high-point monitoring as it meets the needs of 180-degree panoramic stitching. Challenges mainly lie in hardware and software design of the four-lens stitching, as well as accuracy and anti-vibration for the high point.
