| DESIGN NAME: Shimmer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: Facing the complex role transformation and switching of metropolitan workers, through the semi-open spatial core and the turning angles of the moving lines, the multi-relationship between work, life and family is closely linked. Through the materials, lines and proportional adjustment of light, we depict a rational and gentle home style and take the difference in the life of each occupant into consideration. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Facing the complex role transformation and switching of metropolitan workers, through the semi-open spatial core and the turning angles of the moving lines, the multi-relationship between work, life and family is closely linked. The workspace moved to the central point, connecting the public space such as the living room and dining room, makes the study look like a delicate glass display box, retaining openness, and allowing more viewing and interaction with a beveled angle of moving lines. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In response to the owner's lifestyle, we have moved the workspace to the central point, connecting the public space such as the living room and dining room, making the study looks like a delicate glass display box. With a transparent view and double entrance design, open communication with the family is retained and the owner can also maintain the concentration required for work; the sharp angle of corners are removed with angles of moving lines at the dining room, allowing more viewing and interaction. We have reduced the overall chroma with natural earth tones such as wood and grey to shape the calm and rational feelings. In the paintings of heaven, earth and wall, through the jump and merge of different materials, and the division and cutting of lines, the unique visual personality is presented. In addition to the main lighting, we also embed detailed light strips, metal strips, etc., through the subtle radiance and color to endow a delicate and warm breath of life at night. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This modern living space retains the characteristics of rationality and leisure. It is combed, shuttled and interlaced in the neat black mirror and iron wire space to highlight the layer of space, and use the surrounding and arranging of earth tones and natural textures such as wood and gray to creates different spatial expressions between the ceiling, floor, and wall. The multi-level lighting arrangement, just like the stage performance, can bring more versatile life atmosphere through the change and switch of light. With such a subtle detailed design, it can also achieve thoughtfulness and respect for every occupant.
