| DESIGN NAME: ZhongAn Headquarter Office PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office INSPIRATION: The architect breaks the regular function planning and creates a forward looking work space with freedom, openness and health as its principle to satisfy the instinctive needs both perceptual and rational for the working environment, depicting a poetic landscape in the air and triggering comfortable feeling with focused attention and balance. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The headquarter office of ZhongAn Group is located in the golden section on the Bund of the international metropolis Shanghai. The architect introduces the great river view into the interior. The traditional Oriental aesthetic concept is combined with the future oriented modern context with the design philosophy as less is more. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: There are freely shared areas which provide opportunities for contacts and cooperation for different users, as well as private and independent venues. It can efficiently and autonomously switch between interactive communication mode and focused thinking mode to improve work efficiency. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2017 in the Bund Finance Center in Shanghai and finished in February 2018. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The pursuit of perfect details runs through the project, where the screen reveals the graceful style. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 2600 square meters TAGS: Oriental aesthetic, the Bund, freedom, openness, sustainable, poetic, environment, details RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The armchair inherits the essence of Chinese traditional style which generates sympathetic response in the materials and color matching with the Italian royal brand Poltrona Frau to bring a harmonious rhythm of Oriental aesthetics. CHALLENGE: The wall and the ground are plain and elegant accompanied by the light and shadow changes, when the combination of lines and surfaces gives the space a pleasant scale and level to create a high-end inspiring and sustainable innovative workplace that enables both employees and customers to naturally feel the poetic environment that corresponds with humanity.
