| DESIGN NAME: Conformation of Structure PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: “Conformation of Structure,” as the residential interior design project, takes advantages of the tall indoor space by constructing the split-level interior, of which the integral structure figuratively resembles the building facade. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The ground floor composed of the public area, and the split-level floor composed of the master bedroom and study room. The living room has the complete view to the split-level floor, which is the captivating structure in the house. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The main design style taking into consideration of the house owner’s candid and funny characters proposes the contemporary North American minimalistic style. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Aug. 2018 in Taipei City, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The overall color scheme focuses on the white and wood colors, as well as the moderate stainless steel components, that expand the spirit of minimalism. The earth-tone furniture and soft finishes adorned with the special succulent plants not only harmonize the cold-tone elements of minimalism, also bring out the atmosphere of humanity. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 59.4 square meters TAGS: Interior Design, Residential ,House,Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The element of black and white adorned on the entryway floor represents the two commencing spirits of space, where the artistic marble adornment extends the visual perception from the entryway to the public area composing of the living and dining room that exhibits the amiable hospitality to everyone coming in the house. CHALLENGE: Each side of the TV wall decorated between the living room and dining room has the smooth traffic flow. The tall ceiling, on the right of living room, exposes the magnificent and in-depth sense of sight. The volakas white marble embellished as the central column and the graceful furniture highlight the luminous and elegant features. The ceiling extending to the living room with its slope architecturally connects the master and second bedroom, the dining room, kitchen, etc., while artistically connecting the characters among areas meanwhile.
