| DESIGN NAME: Reading Life PRIMARY FUNCTION: Public Area INSPIRATION: The circular area, in the middle space, attracts the attentions, of which the arc-like book walls, the installation art of suspended books, and the ceiling illuminations are alluring as well. Concurrently, a few island counters specifically for cooking activities cordially integrate the life aesthetics and hotel facilities. The joyful kids’ area is pleasant for children and trustworthy for parents. The entire space, meanwhile, is comfortable and heart-warming. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design work of reading public area in a renowned hotel in Southern Taiwan, “Reading Life” massively decorated with the warm textures of woods displays the style of modern simplicity. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The main idea proposing the environment of natural amusement, added by multiple woods comprehensively decorated on the ceilings and cabinets, spawns the elegant and natural ambience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The theme “Formula Life” artistically exemplifies the big public area as the harmony of passion and humanity genuine in Southern Taiwan. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 1049 square meters TAGS: Interior Design, Public area RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The space arrangement is delicate, and the creative diversities incorporating the curved and mix-and-max materials create the relieved, countryside or LOFT styles that are invigorating and conformed. CHALLENGE: The classy floors and stylish ceilings distinguish the reading and lounge areas from the big region. The space, below the big corner stair, is ornamented into the treehouse-like environment that is funny and comforting.
