| DESIGN NAME: Gemdale Yangyun PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office INSPIRATION: The project takes the painting of Gao Xingjian, The Edge of Reality as an inspiration, merging the shape of the moon and ink with the Zen and minimal design elements into the space, which allows the building, space and furnishings to integrate with each other harmoniously. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: With the change of the lines in space, the echoes and resonances of different atmosphere are presented here. The rhythm of the space perfectly shows the oriental courtesy order, which enables people to explore the balance between art and spirit in the solemn and fantastic visual effect. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The sales office is designed for helping customers to know better and deeper about the newly constructed buildings and houses. They will see the overall construction plan of the buildings here and can get in touch with sales managers if they have any questions and can make the purchase of houses here. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It takes about 2 months to finish the construction. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The project uses special materials such as Portor Gold (stone material) and coffee-cream marble. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers an area of 600 square meter. TAGS: Chinese Ink, Zen, coffee-cream marble, Portor Gold stone, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The original interior height of the project is not enough, therefore, designers study the structure first and then make the design so as to create a large spatial experience. CHALLENGE: In the beginning of the design, with design requirements of simplicity however should retain the sense of quality, designers make selection of the materials used carefully.
