| DESIGN NAME: The House with Silence and Aroma PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: How to design this project honestly with the consideration of the female owner’s taste and the living habits are the designer’s main idea. The most special part of this project is the combination of the concepts of Chinese traditional ‘feng shui’ and modernist senses in the space; as well as how to design the comprehensive space by the proper arrangement of existing structures. The designer has offered the moderate strategies to response these challenges, and created special features for this project. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designer believes that God creates curves and human create lines. Therefore, the curve strategies are cleverly applied to the entrance room, ceiling and the shapes of shelves in the rooms. That way can bring out the extending feelings in the space to avoid the original problems of suppressive and harsh. The curve strategies can blend the areas of putting "feng shui" artifacts with the sense the modernism into the whole spatial composition smoothly. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Design concerns the connections between the humanity inclinations and natures that gratify the clients’ preferences on the basis of the multiple values of design. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The shiny stone wall as the background of the space can reveal the noble sense and the eminence of the owner; the wooden material can generate sort of the stable sense to add up the spatial flavor. The white slabs with different widths are the hidden cabinets which can increase the spatial sense of multi-level by shifting function. That way inspired by the feeling of natural rocks gives the delicate and silent senses for explaining the owner’s female personality. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 93.25 square meters TAGS: Interior Space and Exhibition Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The urbanization of society has intensified the population density, which forces the architectural and interior design to fight for the size of lands. The phenomenon of pseudo industrialization has an influence on the essence of buildings, the impact extending the spaces upward. Based on the aesthetic perspectives and design skills, the design work extraordinarily harmonizes the relationships between the human sensations and natures, the ultimate perfection of design energy displaying the backbones and qualities of the spaces. CHALLENGE: The applications of decoration materials pursue the agreeable balance between the aesthetic compositions and environmental protections. By means of the applications of innovative experiments, the reinforcement of design works uniqueness and originality amiably integrates the technology and life style. The efforts consolidating the diverse tangible and intangible values are now comprehensively demonstrating the design skills and aesthetics to the design works as well.
