DESIGN NAME: Bumble
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pendant Lamp
INSPIRATION: The starting point of the design began with the removal of the lights from the rounded lines. As the design continued, elegant and curvy lines appeared, and the golden ratio was used.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The difference of the bumble from the other illuminations is the angular cut of the circular lines and the elegance of the light lines.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Bumble lighting can be easily hung from the ceiling and quickly illuminates the space.The lighting is designed to be both modern and harmonious in form to be used in many different locations.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was designed in May 2017 in Istanbul and prototype trials were initiated. The process is still going on.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Bumble's design line consists of rounded lines. aluminum is used to produce round forms. Paint and natural coating materials can be applied for color and pattern changes.
LED lighting system has been chosen to provide savings. The angles in the design allow the dim light to illuminate the environment without exhausting the human.

-Multi-lighting total width: 110 cm.
-Single receiving total height: 80cm.
- Single lighting total width: 18 cm.
-Children's room lighting height: 50 cm.
-Children's room lighting width: 26cm
All bumble series can be extended and shortened by lighting pipes.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Bumble first started with sketches in the design stage. Light angles and soft lines in the sketches have been prioritized. In our research, we decided that spreading the light at 45 degree angles is the best option. We experimented in the production of metal as a material. We applied the thin strip section by using led light. as a result bumble lighting appeared.
CHALLENGE: The lighting design has forced us to find the right angles of lighting. In order to avoid dazzling the people at the proper angles and angles, we got help from different experiments and materials.
