| DESIGN NAME: TECHNOLOGY COLLECTION PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewelry INSPIRATION: When I saw parts of a personal computer that no one can see because they are hidden inside, but thanks to them we do a lot of things every single thing. We communicate with people, we work, we learn. It inspired me to create this collection, I wanted to show people how beautiful that they do not see, but what help In my main references I used: Cooler from processor, Pin5 (DIN), Sata cable, battery from motherboard, microchips,random access memory (RAM) UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Modern technologies surround us day after day. We spend at least 8 hours a day at the computer. The idea of the collection is to transform parts of a personal computer into jewelry. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Technology Collection, attracts attention and expresses a conceptual view of jewelry. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was started in April 2018 and was finished in July 2018 in Moscow. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: First of all, I was looking for information about the parts of a personal computer, references and exact images of those parts that I used in the design of the collection. Then sketches and production technology were made. It was very important to make recognizable parts and transform it into jewelry. The final stage was the making of a 3D model, the manufacture of prototypes and the subsequent creation of jewelry in the metal. I used silver 925, with and coating black, white rhodium and gold. Also simulated microchips were specially cut Nanositals. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Silver 925 with coating black, white rhodium and gold. Gems is Nanositals with special cut. TAGS: computer, jewelry, jewellery, cooler, ring, earrings RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I used to design more than 400 images of parts of a personal computer. After analyzing, I concluded that all parts of the computer are very rhythmic and geomitric, this was the main motive that I used so that all the items in the collection were combined with each other when worn. Every piece of jewelry perfectly combines with each other no matter what color it is made and which part of the computer was the reference. CHALLENGE: Once I saw in Pinterest an image of the internal board of a personal computer that catch me and it became very interesting for me to create a collection of jewelry that would be just as rhythmic and concise. The main difficulty was the production of the smallest details, the dimensions of which are not always possible to repeat in the precious metal but after long tests I did it.
