| DESIGN NAME: Heritage Collection PRIMARY FUNCTION: Planter and Tables INSPIRATION: The arch, a classic architectural technique, inspired us to reimagine a subtle reference to our modern habitats. Besides its natural structural capabilities, one arch marks an entryway yet a gathering of arches denotes a space. Its weight and geometry in contrast to the human scale are the essence of HERITAGE. Inspired by the Roman aqueduct, the collection was created from the perspective of continuity and flow, whereby the addition of singular configurations can create different installations. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Heritage collection, intends to explore the spatial capabilities of the arch and the possibilities of reimagining the roman aqueduct. They can be displayed alone or by adding pieces together to set up a larger table or planter scene. The collection is designed to create a stereoscopic effect. The arches relate to a space whose lines become blurred with your movement. The manipulation of scale make the planters significantly big for an interior space, the tallest being 6 foot tall. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2017 in Miami. The final development was completed in five months. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The collection was designed to be manufactured in different option of materials: resin gradient colors, marble CNC pieces combination, or wood.
