| DESIGN NAME: Symbiosis PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: With crisscross textures as the backdrop, this work contrasts glimmering warm sunlight, forming a sensual level of the space. The lines and plans rely on the ups and downs of light, consecutively cross virtuality in a relaxing slow manner, and perform internal sentiment within the space according to temporal order. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project takes solid wood as the key element that shapes the interface. Utilizing lights that come from the outside and go through the openings of the windows with neutral color saturation can neutralize shadows in nature and extend the arrangement of sight, which constitutes beautiful scenery as people view from a distance or nearby. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Integrating the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen into an open lounge area, the designer makes the vision possess extended and transparent effect by using horizontal lines to visually widen the space and by using the extension of vertical lines to construct diverse depth of field for the lounge area. With the proper utilization of the metal components and solid wood which creates the golden ratio of layers, the design expresses a gentle image. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Designer decide to have the space feature on numerous uses of the natural warm colors and the textures of solid wood to express the spirit of being dynamic and thoughts on natural beauty and to explain the atmosphere of the space as a whole. Through the connections between the texture and feel of the materials, the design stealthily provides a contrast to a delicate flavor slowly revealed from a level of lines and planes, and exemplifies that we have unlimited passion for design through this project. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Indoor space approximately 60 square feets. TAGS: slow manner, textures, natural beauty, warm atmosphere RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In terms of design for the small space, the work is designed to break through traditional methods of residential space. Thus the designer does not specifically plan for realizing the concept of structural wall to the living room in conventional way, but takes the customized long table as the main feature for the whole area. This design evolves the indoor area into a place where family members can have pleasant time everyday. NAME: loud Direction space design studio PROFILE: We find inspiration from Minimalism, reading, movies, and traveling and replace arranged decorations with numerous uses of graphic tension and geometrical proportions. We can show captivating charm of easily connected reflected items even by setting a lamp or a handful of green color, or by setting a bed or a view of a wall. We tend to hide emotions in the layers of the materials, in the changes of light and shadow, and in the transitions of dimensionality. |
