PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Hangover Remedy Drinks

INSPIRATION:
We pursue the spirit of brand positioning in design, and aim at people of busy social life,with higher frequency of wine-drinking, and with the common discomfort and tired feeling of hangover on the second day after drinking wine to be the concepts, and through the varied design techniques of pixelization and concretization, etc.,we convey the idea that they do not have to wake up from the headache and exhaustion of hangover after drinking wine.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The positioning of Wake up is directed at developing a functional beverage to get rid of hangover in daily life,via the direct and distinctive visual positioning and communication, it clearly proceeds from the common discomfort of hangover that is inevitable for work, helps to enhance the body's ability of dissolving alcohol, and shows that people don't have to wake up from the fatigue of hangover after drinking the wine, but they can be spirited and energetic to face the challenges in work and life instead to be the visual presentation.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Under the circumstance that the China market is still deficient in a leading brand of hangover remedy drinks in the present stage, its online sales has attained the favorable rate of over 99%, and people’s repurchase rate is continuously remaining stably at over 15%. With the overall brand design that its creative innovation tallies with the brand tone, and driven by the display of the online brand image, the consultation and trade talks of offline distributors are growing in number day by day. Among them, the channel that takes first-tier cities and the second-tier cities as the principal parts has the most obvious cooperation intentions.

The project started in started in Mar 2017 in Taiwan and finished in AUG 2017 in Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
For the beverage package of “Wake up”, iron, which can be recycled and reused after the consumers finish drinking and doing the easy cleaning, is selected to be the main material. Moreover, the material of corrugated paper is chosen to be printed directly into boxes that can contain half a dozen bottles, without adding the protective film on the external layer to effectively decrease the multiple procedures of recycling and taking apart the paper boxes being with the poly propylene coating and achieve the more effectual recycling convenience.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Being with a large volume and fast-growing, functional beverage market is the motive power to the entire beverage market’s development. We found that consumers’ tendency toward the functional beverages has increased year by year, and among them, toxic substance elimination and detoxification (alleviating hangover is to help the liver to remove toxic substance) are the health issues that they are concerned about the most. Therefore, “Waking up ” cuts in from this demand point of market, provides customers with a scientific and professional functional beverage of hangover remedy that is with taste, and through the rigorous science experiment discovers deeply the hangover alleviating value of the seeds of Hovenia acerba Lindl. under specific concentration that can assist people in safely and effectively adjusting the physical conditions after having social intercourse, so as to remain calm and take things easy as well to cope with all kinds of embarrassment of hangover.

CHALLENGE:
By utilizing the distinctive analytical method of brand DNA, the character of wake up is planned to be the core as the fundamental form of expression to design the calligraphic Chinese character with uniqueness and with extremely great artistic tension. With the said character spreading over the can body in large area, and with the embellishment of the character of true that is of the modeling of Chinese red seal as the auxiliary, the appropriate dotted treatment is conducted at the corner of the character of wake up to complete the beautiful fusion of dark grid can body and the white decorative font to ingeniously present the vague artistic conception between drunk and awake to remind you to wake up at all times! Always regain consciousness! And wake up a man’s day!
