| DESIGN NAME: Romance and Decadence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bistro INSPIRATION: The street is crowded with heavy traffic,this space stands right in the bustle of the city.The complicated thoughts stir up one's desire to escape,and this bistro will digest these emotions.Starting at this point, we high light the spirit of the space with metaphorical methods and created a lazy romantic ambiance through different materials and illumination.Custome UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Irregularly shaped ceiling is used, extending outwards with the stairs as the center point.The mystery of the unknown destination implies the escape of the heart, that is, the spirit of this room.the side table with carved white stone counter top stretches from the dining area through the corridor to the horseshoe-shaped bar, allowing the original narrow space to develop the axial spatial features both in vertical and depth. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In addition to building materials, lighting and furnishings also affect the ambiance.The luminaire creates an unique expression on the wall.The light boxes reflect the simple and earthy texture of Lotos plaster, the green cloth furniture is suffused with faint hues, pervading romance and decadence.Wine cabinet is completely different, raw wood interspersed with iron rods to craft the space for wine bottles and the hidden lights behind to extend the front and rear levels of the racks. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Romance and decadence are two distinctive images. We use the natural appearance of the materials to set off the overall space. Rough cement texture as background, and the surface is smoked with a bit of decadence. The retro-styled bricks paved in the herringbone pattern render so deep and unobtrusive visual impression, and the decoration of sophisticated titanium plating makes the romantic atmosphere with a sort of laziness ferment gradually in the space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 133m²=1424 Sq Ft TAGS: Romance and Decadence,Bistro RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: Romance and decadence are essentially two diverse ideas. It is challenging to accurately distribute the proportion of building materials and arrange light and shadow,so that the body will relax instinctively and the emotions be released naturally and render an atmosphere that fits the role played by this bistro in digesting moods while not being too decadent. And how to extend the visual and spatial sense in the narrow space is a major issue as well.
