DESIGN NAME: Imola Beijing
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Showroom
INSPIRATION: The appearance of the two-storied structure is dark.For the interior, yellow,black and white is used in the space design.The shining yellow breaks the silence of the armor-like structure while much white is used with light in side to create an extreme simple life philosophy.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Imola showroom reflects the designer's good understanding of the relationship between the sales process and the circulation in the space.The yellow bricks belt like a beam of light cut through the dark structure,conveying the culture of Imola.The container window on the 1st floor shows Imola's aesthetics of life.From the light direction of the bold white stairs, people walk to the negotiation area upstairs. The blank-leaving in Chinese painting is used in design to show simple life style.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As Imola providing ceramic products, many materials from their own are used in designing to make the structure as an exhibition both outside and inside.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started from January to April 2017.And the showroom opened in December 2017 in Beijing officially.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Imola showroom reflects the designer's good understanding of the relationship between the sales process and the circulation in the space.As Imola providing ceramic products, many materials from their own are used in designing to make the structure as an exhibition both outside and inside.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The building area for Imola showroom is 538 square meters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Considering both functions of each space and the aethstic experience for the consumers,the design was made basing on designer's well-understanding of the whole sales process and the client's products.
CHALLENGE: Strengthen the comsumers impression on Imola brand and make them have a good feeling of the products and the showroom and make the sales process more smoothly.
