RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As the lives formed throughout the time the occupants spent living in the space, emotions, sentiment, and memories of the family members would precipitate with time. The design, in the form of spatial circles extending outwards, coupled with small round columns symbolizing family harmony in accentuating the artistic aesthetics and grandeur of the space, and its design foci, as distinctive design elements for a relaxing environment.
CHALLENGE: This project is an RC construction structure of a circular-shaped site, with its facade of curtain wall windows, and as a result, the portioning treatment became very complex, while some of the original glass windows were preserved so as to bring sunlight and greenery view into the interior, which epitomizes the complexity in the technique we deployed to articulate the sense of harmony and refined detailing.
