| DESIGN NAME: Grayscale Reversal PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Space INSPIRATION: Present the nature, capture the optimal temperature, carry the perception of the residents, express the sense of time in the space. Designers use relaxed, natural and humanitarian tones as a guide to the space. With an open relationship, they can interpret and master different situations and the feeling of lightness, heaviness, floating, actual and imaginary between the transitions creates a simple and down-to-earth quality. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the low-saturated field dominated by grey scale, the designer rediscovers the ambiguity of time triggered from the correspondence between the actual and the imaginary and extended to linear design, which is sufficient to form a temporary memory of the moment. It belongs to the sign of beauty and is also the transmission of life style. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: With the use of special Laminate, tiles, natural woods, mirror materials, imported low-formaldehyde plates, and other mediums, the concept of nature, health, and environmental-friend PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Jan. 2018 in and finished in Mar. 2018 in Hsinchu city. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Under the premise of conforming to the living conditions of residents, the design of space utilizes open approach, or the transparent material as a multi-faceted extension. The warmth, organic, natural and vivid characteristics as well as the uniqueness and comfortable sense of space are presented with natural materials and materials with environmental-friend SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The indoor area is approximately 145.8 square meters. TAGS: grey, time, humanitarian tones, multi-function RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As the keynotes of the main field, we take a few plans of black and white colors and deliver a practical line of movement to create a comfortable daily life environment for the family. The design of ceiling uses woods to outline the sense of extension, and the floor design utilizes segmentation of different materials to make separate spaces for major living space. When entering a room dominated by grey color, it can enlarge the openness of viewing angle and the extension effect of the space. CHALLENGE: The residents do not prefer the piling of excessive colors and materials, and hope that they can continuously express their feelings from a low-saturation relationship and could be given a low-profile attitude.
