| DESIGN NAME: Luxury Essence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: For the definition of luxury, there is always certain kind of expectation from traditional norms such as complication, piling, or accumulation. However in essence, it has solely been the experiment on material utilization, which gives people certain spiritual beliefs and natural construction order for the term luxury. We hope to redefine the appearance and essence of such term through design, and express an in-depth dialogue of rationality and fantasy. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designer re-interpret the modern low-level luxurious style with materials, color saturation, proportions, furnishings, and light atmosphere, and careful research and analysis of all seasonal periods of the room lighting to redefine the vivid expression of each space under illumination of natural light source.In such soft atmosphere, people would feel the closest feeling of belonging when entering the door. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Designers use the indirect and direct light source co-combination, shelf lines, inter-area sound channel, open shelf and bookcase design to create an all-round reading space with both storage and use functions. The kitchen and dining room apply the island table to make each other the inter-mediating factor between them, which continues the golden texture of the arcade of the dining area. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The designer hopes to convey a relaxed, tasteful and exquisite space idea, and the resident could enjoy the laid-back time of the construction of linear design in white-color tones with a abundant usage of natural, environmentally friendly tiles, natural stone, metal, imported low-formaldehyde plates, natural wood veneer, etc. as media to allow natural materials to exhibit linear designing which become the major body of the construction. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The indoor area is approximately 168.48 square meters. TAGS: low-level luxurious style, rationality, proportions, soft atmosphere RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The front and back main walls of the living room area are dominated by white color , the stone of identical texture, with the combination of metal and light to appropriately soften visual. With the distribution of light, we carefully study and analyze the temperature brought about by each seasonal period to spatial gradients, redefine the vivid expression of each space under the natural light source. CHALLENGE: With the composition of the linear surface, it provides a medium for communicating with the nature of life. The link between the worlds of spiritual and material would then be discovered, and though the two are opposed to each other, they also refer to each other and when they appear together on the same scale, they also present new interpretations about the nature of luxury.
