| DESIGN NAME: Fuji Flower PRIMARY FUNCTION: Coffee Shop INSPIRATION: It is like you are putting yourself in a greenhouse garden and here you can see the whole growing processes of plants from seeds to beautiful flowers. Everyone here is a florist, and you can create your own floral art! Greenhouse.No boundary between indoor and outdoor.Combining floral classes and coffee shop together. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a space that combines coffees and floral designs. I wish to bring the floral designs into our daily life rather than special holidays. To imagine that we need a cup of latte every day, why wouldn’t we need a flower everyday to encourage our mind. Here, we are providing a different lifestyle, slowness. Except from selling beverages and flowers, floral lectures are provided. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Greenhouse: Flowers grow strong in greenhouse, so I wish to bring the ideas of arched flower shelves and water supply and sewerage facilities into store design. A variety of flowers grow in shelves built on the surface of wall, so that to let people feel like they are living in a world of flowers. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Recycled wood.black painted steel parts.grey glass.grey mirror.epoxy SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width17545mmmxDepth5 TAGS: FujiFlower，hecingd RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Combining floral classes(lectures) and coffee shop(business space) together.I wish to recombine different spaces of functions together. They are able to communicate with each other while no interference at all, and then form a vague boundary. Thus, the design of middle wall will be built with both transparent and reflective grey glass interlocked. CHALLENGE: Considering plants growing environment, we design to set up an automatic spraying system, sewerage system, and temperature/humidity sensor on wall surface and ceiling, and, regarding steel flowerpots, the way of sewerage and how to avoid soil flowing into drain pipe will be taken into consideration; therefore, flower vase needs to be redesigned.
