| DESIGN NAME: Pibu Pibu PRIMARY FUNCTION: Package Design INSPIRATION: Customization has been a big genre growing within the brand identity. PIBU PIBU also hoped to share the possible customization within the product and its brand character rabbit was inspired by the clock rabbit from the classic, "Alice's Adventure in Wonderland." This inspired the book cover themed design in both bottles and ampoules. Each ampoule connects its function with classic novels such as detox ampoule illustrates the Three Little Pig's brick house, which represents the detoxification function of the ampoule with the protective brick wall. Also, the paper case for the product is made to mimic the motion of people opening the book to find out about the story inside it. The case design itself was inspired by school lunch tray for using the size and shape of each "bowls" to help people understands the system of PIBU PIBU. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: PIBU PIBU is a Korean bath and beauty brand that allows customers to mix and match two ampoules from their extensive selection of natural ingredients to create a customized shampoo or body wash. From their request for an eco-friendly packaging solution, a fully recyclable paper package was made for its first step. The design of the package is ideal for identification and representation. The surface of the package was designed to allow identification of the brand image from a glance. The package's shape of the bottle, pump, and two ampoules help customers visually understand the unique system of PIBU PIBU. The material choice of the package represents the philosophy of the brand: Natural Products Inside and Out.
