| DESIGN NAME: Asteroid PRIMARY FUNCTION: Outdoor sports toys, balanced capacity INSPIRATION: When observed their behaviors, the kids of about 3 years old and more often fall down because of losing the balance, and it is lack of interactivity between the children. Also they often get mad at each other because of fighting over toys. Therefore, the kind of toy which can not only train children’s core force, but also can promote the friendship between the Children could be designed. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: “Asteroid going home”is based on the main theme of the four planets, Earth, Mars, Saturn, Uranus to make the silicone balls, which need four kids to twist their body and make use of their waist and abdomen strength to send each planet home shoulder to shoulder. During the sliding of the planets, the kids needs to twist continuously to avoid the planets running around in order to send the balls to the string bags of corresponding color until the four planets rolled into the holes completely, then, the kids win the game."Going left while going right", this kind of sports toy is made up of two hemispheres, which makes use of an elastic band to connect the two centers. The hemispherical radians are designed for a 3-year-old child's brachial comfort. The children will feel warmth and safe when they hug the balls and the sections of the two hemispheres are glued by the magic paste. Two children can work together to open the ball and run left and right respectively to compare who is stronger, and the elastic band could draw back the two kids, then the two hemispheres are closed together to make the kids feel warm when they are embracing the balls. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Handmade, digital printing SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: "Asteroid going home" , Disc diameter: 750mm, inner ring diameter ：700mm, small ball diameter :60mm; "Go left to right" L: 360mm, W: 300mm TAGS: Children's toys, exercise, balance, team ability, partnership RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Careful observation of training the balance for 3-year-old children, and in-depth investigation on and analysis of 3-year-old children's waistline data and arm bending comfort, and finally the above two schemes are determined . CHALLENGE: The suitable material and quality are difficult to match, It could be manufactured after choosing many factories. Moreover,It is difficult to find the sewing trainer who is willing to sew for us. Because It is generally believed that the spherical toy is difficult to make.The sewing trainer should be seasoned and professional to work out the data exquisitely during sewing. it costs the longest time to sew the fabric of the outer hemisphere and stitch the outer disk,also it is the most difficult to stitch it.
