| DESIGN NAME: Addicted Bracelet Bag PRIMARY FUNCTION: Handbag INSPIRATION: Inspired by the woman who wears her heart on her sleeve, the Addicted bracelet bag is crafted from smooth full grain leather and punctuated with the brand's distinctive buckle that works as a top handle, allowing the bag to be worn as a wristlet or as a cross body with its detachable shoulder strap. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Addicted bracelet bag features an unique bottle shaped silhouette with distinctive ring buckle that functions as a top handle. The striking bracelet like handle enhances its jewelry feel while looping over the wrist. Crafted from smooth full grain calfskin, it has a compact interior that has enough space for your cell phone, wallets and keys. Its detachable and adjustable shoulder strap allows it to be worn as long shoulder, cross body, or carried in the hand on the top handle. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Parisa Wang handbags are designed to merge classic beauty with an undeniably modern twist and functionality. Each handbag is carefully handcrafted with sensibly sourced, high quality, full grain leather by experienced artisans, ensuring durability, and inherent luxury. It takes over 6 months to turn a design idea to a beautiful product. I oversee the process from design rendering, pattern making, sourcing leather and hardware, cutting patterns, painting edges, sewing and finishing by hand, to packing and delivering. Based on our researches, we saw a need for high quality, uniquely designed handbags for under USD250 for women in 24 to 45 age group. In terms of researching tools, we used Google analytics, Adobe creative suite, WGSN for trend forecasts and door to door analysis to collect floor feedbacks from sales managers, buyers and customers. We also hosted in store popup events to collect valuable feedbacks from direct consumers. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of bringing Addicted bracelet bag to life is to find an reliable leather factory with experienced artisans to handmade all handbags with sensibly sourced, high quality leather to ensure durability and inherent luxury. With a luxury fashion background, our founder Parisa Wang were able to source factories and leather workshops globally from Turkey, Korea, Spain, Hongkong, and India and finally locked in an experienced factory in Hongkong who work with advanced contemporary handbag labels to produce our designs.
