| DESIGN NAME: White Light PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: The most gorgeous vistas hide in the most delicate decorations, and the designer skillfully unveils the space charisma. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The house is clean and white, and the functional-oriented design style sets off the affable residential atmosphere. The interior design plan is clear-cut, and the pragmatic-oriented storage design with consistent large capacity spares the indoor space from hoardings. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The big L-style book walls, extending from the living to dining room, symbolizes the client’s propensities for book collections and massive reading. The book walls for the exhibition of books and ornaments consistently gratify the demands for book storage and visual embellishment. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Oct. 2017 in Taipei City, Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Black-and-white, the most alluring contrasting colors, are extensively applied in the house, in which the main white spaces collaborated with the black frames embedded in the large glass delineate the areas for different vistas. The vistas, standing out from the white space ornamented with the black frames, is the most stunning classical fashion. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 142 SQMT TAGS: Interior Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: To create a stress-free living place, the designer has to make the idea natural, and to comply with space conditions, standards of living and beauty. Then works will not unreasonably affected. CHALLENGE: The private spaces, e.g. bedrooms, painted with beige and light brown, are complacent. The tawny leather wall covering, in the master bedroom, moderates the visual intensity to the comforting scale.
