| DESIGN NAME: Lifelong Promise PRIMARY FUNCTION: Counter INSPIRATION: To imitate the company business of manufacturing conveyors and present it in the design work, the designer delicately carves the woods into the reception counter with stylish curvatures. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For the entrepreneur specifically favoring the natural texture of woods, the designer deliberately invents the wood decorations exemplifying the modest and lively strength, which figuratively indicates the life philosophy living humbly with nature. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The curves of wood bending from the upward left epitomize the complete happiness. Meanwhile, the wood arc stretching to the right artistically expresses the conveyors carrying goods with dexterity and capacity. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in May 2017 in Nantou County, Taiwan. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Decorated with the log wood structures and the white-and-sleek stone body, the counter symbolizes the elegant combination of wood and rock. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 20 square meters. TAGS: Product Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Considering "tree" as the symbolic protection for the company, the entrepreneur presents to the world the reception counter based on the idea of guardian angle that sustains the entire company operations and people. Named "lifelong promise," the counter epitomizes the eternal commitment protecting the promises forever. CHALLENGE: "Lifelong promise," the reception counter in an enterprise headquarter, artistically symbolizes the nature originality that endlessly evolves, signifying the enterprise spirits.
