| DESIGN NAME: The Smart PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Desk INSPIRATION: Our aim was to design a product with a representative look accompanied with many practical features. We believe that pleasant office environment is crucial for good working performance. Thus we wanted to show to people that also simple furniture as the table is, can make their life in office easier and more pleasant. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: During the design process, much attention has been paid to simplicity, usability, and practicality, mainly for the office-center environment. Therefore, this product is equipped with several new and sophisticated features such as a smart wiring system using magnetic surfaces placed on wooden metal paneling. Thanks to this system, cables from your computer will be pressed on the table construction - they become almost invisible. Furthermore, the table has developed hook system on its metal construction, on which you can hang - a waste bin, organizer, pocket for small items and hanger for purses or handbags. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The office desk is suitable for the modern office environment, where it can be placed as a single unit or in multiple units combination. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The base construction is made from metal. The desk is made of various types of wood. The plastic desk is optional. Inside of the legs is a plastic cover for magnetic panels, covered by imitation of wood - imitation is used for its technical attributes related to magnetic panels. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions: 700mm x 800mm x 1600mm Weight: 50 Kg TAGS: office, table, accesories, features RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the world of the office ferniture, there is very difficult to bring a product, which would be invoative with its design. Thus, we focused our research on possibilities, which can be found in the usability, practicality and innovations. CHALLENGE: The most challenging part of the project was to combine the simplicity and originality into a very uniform environment of office furniture.
