INSPIRATION: The inspiration for Hyku's website showcases a strong sense of interactions and e-commerce.
Hyku's platform allows the users to perform a variety of engaging actions while they watch the videos. Also, it will enable users to buy what they see on the screen, a feature that is new to the television and media industry.
The website aims to capture the essence of Hyku's interactivity, in a form that is aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching for the audience.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This website showcases Hyku’s critical features in an aesthetically pleasing layout. It also allows the users to see the critical attributes of Hyku immediately and to pinpoint what makes Hyku unique and special.
The website also acts as a gateway for users to upload videos, which are posted on Hyku's mobile application. The upload process is rather simple and straightforward but gives users full control.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The website is a standard website format to promote familiarity.
Users can scroll through the main page to see the different Hyku features, and they can further find resources beyond the main page, should they want to explore more.
The pages also auto scroll, adding to the stunning visual effects.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in June 2017 and finished in September 2017. Since that date, there is significant traffic on the site and active engagement from users.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Empirical research is conducted into making the website both appealing and clear. Poll, questions, and answers were gathered by the website design team over a period of three months to perfect the website's design.
CHALLENGE: The challenge of fitting in a secure message into the first few seconds of viewing is the balance between attractiveness and clarity. The user's attention needs to be grabbed and held while maintaining a robust and informative message. This is what Hyku's website aims to achieve.
