DESIGN NAME: UBS Digital Hub Hong Kong
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bank Customer Digital Hub
INSPIRATION: The main objective of this interior design exercise is to transform the traditional brand image of the bank into something that would be appealing to today’s tech-savvy young entrepreneurs and start-ups that also enjoy personalised service and community. Hence the abundant use of bright colours and playful optical illusion with quotes of inspiration for the interior design of the Digital Hub.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Hub is integrated with a full range of modern technology including facial recognition system at the entrance, followed by a series of touchscreen displays and synchronized projector providing personalised communication along the way. Sliding panels provides flexible partitioning of the space, with dedicated projectors and ideapaint used throughout. Together with bright colours anamorphic graphics, it provides a creative and conducive environment that is attractive to younger bank customers.
