DESIGN NAME: Goldfish Headset
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Headset
INSPIRATION: That is the inspiration of product concept design, looks like a fishbone, with totally adjustable ear tips on the ear housing design. The fishbone structure part is adjustable with 4 levels, 2mm for each and 8mm in total. In additional, with the help of air in ear tips, the earbuds could finally fit everybody’s ears.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Headphones are flexible and can adjust the length, which is the best ergonomics for human ears.The earphone can be adjusted manually to accommodate different sizes of ears, which can be adjusted to the most comfortable size.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Push the transparent part, which can be stuck on the black fishbone, so that it becomes shorter.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The June 2017 project starts in shenzhen, guangdong province, China, and ends in December 2017.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The transparent part of the headset is rubber and the black fishbone is TPE.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Based on the research among age 18-35 with the measurement of 1000 ears, the following picture shows typical ears range from the smallest to the largest sizes. CHALLENGE: We carried out a lot of experiments on the structure of shortening the headphone elongation. Finally, the physical structure is selected, and the silica gel is fixed on the fish bone, while the soft glue and hard plastic are fixed at the same time, and the physical performance is optimal.
