RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Our research was based in collecting shoe boxes from top notch brands on all sizes. A dieline was designed for wach one and a sustainability analysis was conducted for each size and brand to identify waste and savings on material used and transportation. Patent search was also conducted prior to filling international patents.
CHALLENGE: The most challenging part was to design a strong structural packaging that allow the shoes to be safely transported around the world and be able to converted to a hand carry bag with the same packaging closure without the use of tape. Many strength and drop tests were made.
